In the PADI Open Water Diver course, your PADI Instructor guides you through 3 enjoyable phases whilst learning the basics of scuba diving.
You start in a pool or pool-like conditions and progress to the ocean, getting the background knowledge along the way.

- Number of Dives: Five (5) Confined Water Dives and Four (4) Open Water Dives
- Knowledge Development: Five (5) modules + exam
- Prerequisites: 10 for Junior Open Water Diver and 15 for Open Water Diver. Good health and reasonable fitness
- Recommended duration: 3 – 4 days, depending on personal learning needs
- Materials You’ll Need: PADI Open Water manual, RDP table, log book (Recommended; Open Water Diver Crewpack)
- Equipment you’ll use during the course includes: mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and exposure protection (type of suit is depending on personal preferences)
